Hatstand is attending the World Financial Information Conference
Hatstand is pleased to announce that its President and Executive Chairman, Adam Bennett, will be speaking on a technology forum panel at the World Financial Information Conference 2015 (WFIC). The global event, which discusses sourcing, compliance and delivery of financial information, will be held on Monday 5th October 2015 in New Orleans.
Adam will be representing Hatstand in ‘The Evolving Fixed Income Landscape: Technology and Market Data Enabling an Ecosystem’ session. Within the session, there will be discussions on the fragmentation of the global market, with emphasis on the push towards greater transparency, more stringent risk management process and stricter regulatory regime, in terms of managing global fixed income markets.
The panel will be looking at how technology and market data can be leveraged to harvest alpha and manage risk in a rapidly evolving asset class.
Some key questions that Adam will be highlighting to delegates include:
- Fixed income market fragmentation
- How has the market making changed in fixed income markets in the past few years?
- MiFID2 regulations on Best Execution
- Is the buy side ready for unbundling under MiFID2?
Within this evolving and challenging market, the demand for technology within global markets is rapidly growing. And in order to keep up with the demands of market participants, managed service providers must adjust to the changes accordingly.
